Who we are ?

Our History

In 2020, the Consortium d’Investissement Sénégalais (COSENI) obtained a 25-year concession from the Port Autonome de Dakar (PAD) to establish and operate a logistics support base dedicated to the oil and gas (O&G) industry. This concession, located within the PAD, is the first held by a 100% Senegalese-owned entity and aligns with the spirit of the local content legislation.

Impact of Local Content

the Local Content is defined by Senegalese law as all goods and services provided by Senegalese natural or legal persons, as well as the employment and training of nationals, within the framework of activities relating to the extractive industries sector (hydrocarbons and mining). This consists of prioritizing the local workforce, developing local skills, and utilizing local service providers and suppliers, while promoting the transfer of know-how and technology.

At SSB, strategic player in port logistics dedicated to the oil and gas industry, local content is at the heart of our vision. Operating under a mixed regime that combines local resources and international expertise, we actively contribute to the transfer of skills to maximize the benefits of the oil and gas industry for the Senegalese economy.
